I get overwhelmed when I see the enthusiasm in our Team IPF which is progressing by leaps & bounds.

A group of like minded physicians meet, decide to organize academic activities which are need based, soon convert it into a registered body, an official organ takes birth as a IPF E-News Letter & then for wider visibility, emerges a webpage.

The sequence of events could not have been faster.

This webpage will be like a lighthouse attracting the attention of clinicians, like sailors in the ocean & guiding them to their much-needed academic help in their clinical field. The webpage will also be a library from which the desired information stored in E-News Letter may be searched. The webpage will be a storage of information to which the members will have access as per their needs may it be academic, patient care related, law-based needs or social.

The webpage will be an exchange; facilitating communication between members & the office.

I am sure this truly a forum for physicians will help all internists & other medical specialities to have a wider vision of knowledge which is becoming tubular in the era of super specialities.

The world, while not under mining the importance of super specialities, is now at a conclusion that internal medicine is the branch, the most need based, next only to family medicine.

am sure Team IPF while continuing their need-based CME’s, will come out with articles on various clinical managements/developments & other relevant regulations/recommendations/guidelines/Government Circulars. This webpage of IPF will be like a google search for physicians in India for their requirements.

Innovative Physicians Forum® is a forum of like-minded academically oriented doctors with a keen interest in updating their knowledge and keeping abreast with latest developments in different fields.

In the last decade there have been tremendous developments in every field, be it cardiology, diabetology, rheumatology, pulmonology, haematology, neurology, gastroenterology etc. The members of this forum get updated on these subjects in the regular scientific meets of forum.

This forum is going to celebrate its second anniversary as IPF MEDICON 2024 in 6^th April 2024.

Dear Members, At the earnest, I welcome you all to the upgraded website of our vibrant community of medical practitioners, our beloved Innovative Physicians Forum. The regular scientific meets being held throughout the year encouraged the members to progress further and this enthusiasm has resulted in an informative website of the forum. After the successful launch of our e-newsletter IPF-TIMES in April, it was decided to launch our new website on May 12 to commemorate a remarkable 1 year journey which our Forum completed in March 2018.

Our main objective through this website is to provide state of the art, first-hand and relevant medical information, better understanding of academic activities of IPF, as well as sharing achievements of our members. Through this medium, we expect that the interest towards IPF and its activities will further grow in the medical community at large.

We have developed our website on modern platform, which shall enable access to latest news and updates on all aspects of Internal Medicine. When designing the site, we have also thought of it as a simple, user-friendly platform of interactive communication. The links of previous CME’s, academic articles and information about IPF activities and conferences shall be regularly updated on the website. In addition, the previous and present editions of our official E-newsletter IPF TIMES will also be always accessible. With such an approach we hope and aim to attract a wide range of members to regularly update themselves with the latest in the field of Internal Medicine.

At the same time, we will strive to improve our site, based on your feedback, suggestions and recommendations, so that we can better respond to the interests and needs of IPF medical fraternity.

I hope this website will serve its purpose and we count immensely on your wholehearted involvement and cooperation.
